I don’t know a huge amount about politics, but I do know what I think is funny.

Bailout

I understand the AIG bailout enough to know that that if it hadn’t happened, there would be a lot of fallout in many other financial areas that would affect many, many Americans. OK fine. I just thought of a couple of numbers that make me go “hmmmm.” One, the CEO who was in charge during the time AIG lost $20 billion was given a severance package in July when he resigned. $47 million dollars.  I say go get that back from him. And just for fun (or frustration) I figured that that $85 billion bailout, if divided and given to each household in America, would give that each and every household over $800. For most American’s, that would really help. It would cover some insurance costs.
